The Capital City’s laid-back Hill Hedge neighborhood provides three and four-bedroom homes under towering trees in convenient Midtown.
Hill Hedge is located on the north side of Carter Hill Road, opposite the popular McGehee Estates and Rosemont neighborhoods.
“Homes are close to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate,” Realtor Myra Pruit said. “The homes in the neighborhood are traditional, and the yards are well kept.”
The location in Midtown puts residents within five minutes of both public and private schools. Shopping, retail, and dining along Zelda and Carter Hill roads are all a short drive from Hill Hedge. Publix, Winn-Dixie and Renfroe’s are all nearby as are vibrant churches and a YMCA.
The majestic trees, green lawns, and lush shrubbery add to the character of Hill Hedge. Through the decades homeowners have added sunrooms, enclosed carports and upgraded homes as a witness to the value of the location.
A Hill Hedge home at 1816 Robison Hill Road is for sale for $149,900 and includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms within 1,762 square feet of living space.
“The house is neat, clean, and move-in ready,” Pruit said. “The home has a living room, large great room, eat-in kitchen and dining area.”
Built-in bookcases in the living room, a pantry, and safety rails in the master bath are all appealing extras to the home which sits on a corner lot.
Outside the house, a storage building, tiled front porch, patio and fire pit, 1-car carport and adjacent parking pad, and sprinkler system all add to the value of the property.
A Hill Hedge patio home located at 2499 Carter Hill Road is for sale for $139,900 and offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms within 1,516 square feet of living space. The home was built in 1988.
The updated home has new flooring, fresh paint, new light fixtures and appliances, a screened-in patio, and two parking pads.
The eat-in kitchen includes new appliances, lots of cabinets, a pantry, and plenty of counter space. The master bedroom has a tub and shower combination. The second bedroom features double doors to the bedroom and walk-in closet. The third bedroom also has two walk-in closets.
The inviting screened-in patio is surrounded by a new privacy fence.
